FBI REOPENING OLD CASE OF ART THEFT FROM 40 YEARS AGO

Three centuries old paintings were heisted from Amherst College in 1975, then valued at $400,000.  Two of the paintings were recovered  in 1989, but Dutch Artist Jan Baptists Lambrechts painting “Interior with Figures Smoking and Drinking has not been recovered. The FBI has reopened the case.
